It’s that magical time of year again when women drive themselves crazy over Valentine’s Day. Yes I say women because we all know that it is us ladies that obsess over Valentine’s Day. Well this year, I say no more. This year I ask all the ladies, both in relationships and all the single ladies to say no to Valentine’s Day.
Here is a little background on Valentine’s Day. It was originally a Saint’s Day dedicated to several Saints that held the name Va...Read Full Post »

As the first decade of the new millennium comes to a close we should take a few moments to stop and reflect on the things we have done. A new year is not only for making resolutions but also to take a breath and enjoy whatever success or experiences you have had. The best way to truly make a fresh start is to wipe the slate clean and really allow yourself a new beginning.
With this new beginning we have a rare opportunity to take a step back, to clear our minds and to reev...Read Full Post »

In this modern day and age it can be almost impossible to balance love and a successful career. Some people mostly woman, believe that you can have it all love, career and a family but I have found that in most cases this not true. In fact when woman hold themselves to this impossible ideal they tend to self destruct. So for now were going to take having a family out of the equation and just discuss balancing love and work.
Being in love and having a successful career are much the same...Read Full Post »

Back in 2001, I remember watching an NFL-related show when a comedian said “The country is in a very patriotic state right now, the NE Patriots needs to go ahead and win the Super Bowl.” As a New England sports fan, I was happy to hear that. The New England Patriots shocked the football stars by defeating the St Louis Rams 20-17 that same year. Why am I reminding you of this?
I can never compare being a New England sports fan with being supportive of a rival team, but this o...Read Full Post »

The last week of the year and the first week of the New Year are some of the most spectacular weeks for me. It is time to kick back and watch some of the best football using my satellite Dish. College Football is what I mean. It usually starts around the week of December 25th, and continues until the big championship sometimes early January. The Big championship, appropriately titled Bowl Championship Series (BCS) National Championship, is scheduled this year to be between Texas and Alabama o...Read Full Post »

For most of us, this is the time of the year when everybody is making a list. This list is usually handed to a loved one, who will eventually buy, at least, one of these "gifts" for you. Most of the times, this "gift" is supposed to enable you to have something you did not have before. It is almost a similar process in sports, except the supply of what you need is limited, and the demand is extremely high.
Right after losing Game 7 of the American League Championship Series...Read Full Post »

Back at few years ago, I was out and about one night at East Bay Grille in Plymouth, a location well known as middle-aged divorcee heaven during the summer months. I was having a great time with my girlfriend Laura when Sean approached us. Sean was a great guy and we spent much of the night talking and discovered we had much in com...Read Full Post »

Back about a year ago I started dating a seemingly sweet guy who seemed perfect for me. He was newly out of a marriage and certainly not ready for anything very serious. But at the same time, he strongly gave the impression that we were exclusive as far as "intimate" issues went. So, three months into this relationship I had a party and, as expected, many pictures are taken. As typical, I posted a bunch of the pictures on my Facebook page.

Back when I was in my twenties, life was pretty simple. I would go to a bar with my friends on a Friday night, get a good buzz going, and suddenly transform into a Madonna backup dancer. Eventually, some guy would come over and talk to me, usually about 15 minutes before the place closed. I would talk to him for those last 15 minutes and then give him my phone number. If there was no phone call by Thursday, I knew there wasn’t going to be one. Rejection, painful, final, and right in tim...Read Full Post »

On Sunday, a man named Sal9000 married the love of his life. Her name is Nene Anegasaki, and she lives inside of a Nintendo DS video game called Love Plus. The wedding took place during a Make: Japan meet-up held at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. In attendance were a live audience, an MC, the bride's virtual video game girlfriend — who made a speech — and a real human priest.*
What is going on here? Let me know your thoughts on this.

I would love to share with you a few essentials that you must have in your closet. I advise men and women when shopping to not buy into trends but rather to buy functional wardrobe pieces. Trends fade, while functional clothing are always "in."
